About the RoleA national, privately held capital equipment SME is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team. Operating across various divisional businesses, you will support an ambitious growth agenda, including organic development and strategic acquisitions.The successful candidate will shape and execute a robust financial strategy, reporting to the Chief Executive. You will operate across a complex, fast-paced, multi-subsidiary business and play a key role on the Executive Leadership Team.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the finance strategyOversee the central and divisional finance teamsStrengthen budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting and management informationProvide commercial insight to support operational and strategic decision-makingOversee governance, risk, legal, audit and regulatory complianceManage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet performanceBuild strong relationships with lenders, HMRC and other external stakeholdersPartner with the leadership teamQualifications & Required SkillsCIMA/ACA/ACCA qualificationUnderstanding of supply chain challenges, project financing, bill of materialsMulti-site industrial environments, diverse subsidiaries within a GroupIntellectual curiosity and exceptional communication skills
