Alaska Seaplanes / SeaPort Airlines are privately held aviation companies headquartered in Juneau, Alaska. The companies, along with two other operating brands, provide scheduled passenger service, charter operations, cargo transportation, and Essential Air Service throughout Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.Based in Seattle, the CFO is the principal financial executive and a Corporate Officer, responsible for ensuring that the company maintains the financial strength necessary to achieve its long-term objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board of Directors, the CFO is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, HR and IT.Working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, the ideal candidate will function in a highly collaborative role as a successor-level executive whose leadership extends well beyond the traditional finance function.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARYBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, business administration.CPA license is preferred.Experience as a member of a management team in a senior finance role.Experience leading multi-entity, multi-state organizations.Ability to travel 20 - 25% to Juneau, Alaska area.Preference for someone with experience working in the aviation, airline, transportation, heavy machinery, equipment financing or hospitality industries.Experience with capital financing and lender relationships.Be highly curious, highly collaborative and someone who thrives in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments.
