Chief Financial Officer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Key pillar of the leadership team instrumental in leading the entire gamut of finance encompassing Fund management, allocation, treasury, capital structuring, lead project feasibility and profitability, investor relations and management, creating and constantly updating financial process and policies, ensure closure of books and accounting aspects, automation not limited to finance but across the entire organization, budgeting and FP&A and highest productivity across all departments, completion of all audit and statutory compliance across all operating entities.This role is instrumental in generating optimal ROI, driving profits and the best stakeholder value.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Fund management

• Identify different and all avenues globally and through all to generate capital/fund
• Serve as the primary financial liaison for institutional investors, board members, and lending banks the leadership of the various fund houses and entities and create engaging relations
• Raise funds as per the agreed terms and conditions and ensure effective fund allocation and management
• Enable a robust dashboard on the fund management, allocation, utilization and ROI. Financial Strategy and Leadership
• Develop the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans
• Advise the Chairman & CEO on financial performance, capital requirements, risk exposure, and strategic investment decisions
• Evaluate and support any M&A, JV activities, new market entry, and corporate restructuring from a financial and structural perspective
• Responsible for organization wise department wise budget and monthly and quarterly review to ensure financial prudence. Cash Flow, Treasury and Banking
• Maintain tight oversight of cash flow across all entities and project sites and optimize working capital, including treasury management
• Manage the organization's banking relationships, credit facilities, and liquidity buffers to ensure operational continuity
• Negotiate terms with financial institutions to optimize the cost of capital and secure banking facilities, including lines of credit and letters of guarantee
• Oversee the AR/AP functions to ensure accurate aging, swift vendor payments, and proactive management of cash inflows and outflows. FP&A and Development Finance
• Design and manage rolling financial models, operational budgets, and cash flow projections for active real estate developments
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across all entities
• Conduct regular Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analysis at both the project and corporate levels to protect gross margins
• Provide commercial scenario modelling and viability assessments for potential land acquisitions and new real estate projects. Accounting, Reporting and Compliance
• Lead efficient and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closes and ensure strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements
• Implement robust internal controls, enforce governance, and manage statutory audits.Risk Management
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate all risks encompassing financial, brand, legal and process risks. Automation
• Along with the leadership team lead the entire automation and ensure BNW adopts to the latest and best in class technologies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• CA/ACCA/CPA or CFA with 20+ years of finance experience and at least 10 years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO or successor role)
• Prior experience in real estate sector within the UAE will be ideal
