The CompanyMy client is a well-established Australian business seeking an experienced CFO to join their Sydney CBD team. Operating in a project-based environment, the business is looking for a commercially minded finance leader with strong WIP and project costing experience to support its next stage of growth.The RoleA broad CFO opportunity combining strategic leadership with hands-on financial oversight. Working closely with the CEO and Board, you will lead the finance function, drive commercial performance and strengthen financial reporting across the business. Responsibilities will include:Overseeing financial performance, reporting, budgeting and forecastingManaging cash flow, working capital and treasuryProviding commercial oversight of WIP, project costing and marginsImproving financial visibility across projects and business operationsStrengthening financial controls, reporting processes and governanceOverseeing statutory reporting, technical accounting and complianceDriving finance systems improvements and transformationPartnering with the CEO and Board on business strategy and growthDeveloping and strengthening the finance teamAbout YouPrevious CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leadership experienceBackground in a similar project-based industry, such as engineering, construction, manufacturing or related environmentsStrong WIP, project accounting and costing experienceCommercially minded, with the ability to understand project profitability and business performanceStrong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledgeExperience improving finance processes, systems and controlsProven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence business decisionsCA/CPA qualifiedHands-on approach with strong leadership and communication skillsFull working rights in AustraliaInterested?Email your CV to Lewis at lblack@fourquarters.com.au or apply via the link provided.
