Chief Financial Officer-CPA

One of our boutique Financial Services Firm is looking for their next CFO. This role involves experience in Accounting & Finance together.*Hybrid in Downtown Chicago*Summary:This position will be responsible for managing the organizations financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, financial systems, strategic financial planning and problem solving.Manage a small team of around 2-3 people.Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including consolidation and reporting for multiple entities.Prepare reports and deliver actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.Manage the organizations cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs and investment activities.Oversee Finance functions including cash forecasting, investment management, and banking relationships.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.10+ years of experience in a management role in Finance & AccountingExceptional leadership and team management capabilities.Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, KPI development and reporting.Expertise in financial software and systems with the ability to leverage AI to promote efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Salary Range: 200K-225K+ Bonus
