From booking pujas and temple services to prasad and spiritual offerings, Utsav is building the digital infrastructure for how millions of Indians—and the global Indian diaspora—experience their faith.We are now at an exciting stage: moving from proving product-market fit to building a large, repeatable and highly scalable consumer business.The Role:As Chief Growth Officer, you will own Utsav’s growth engine end-to-end. This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who can think beyond individual marketing channels and build a compounding growth system across acquisition, activation, retention, monetisation, partnerships and new channels. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team and have significant ownership over growth strategy, channel economics, experimentation and the growth P&L.“Build Utsav into a high-growth consumer business with efficient, repeatable andincreasingly diversified growth engines.”What You Will Own1. Build the Growth Engine

• Define and execute Utsav's overall growth strategy across short- and long-term horizons.
• Identify the biggest growth opportunities across the consumer funnel.
• Build scalable acquisition and distribution engines beyond a single channel.
• Establish a culture of rapid experimentation, measurement and learning.
• Develop growth loops that improve with scale rather than relying only on incremental paid acquisition.2. Acquisition & Performance Marketing
• Own performance marketing strategy across platforms and channels.
• Drive improvements across CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion and payback periods.
• Build channel-level economics and identify opportunities to scale or reallocate spend.
• Work closely with creative, product and analytics teams to improve campaign performance.
• Move beyond campaign optimisation to building sustainable acquisition systems.3. Influencer & Creator Growth
• Identify and develop high-potential creator partnerships.
• Build scalable creator acquisition frameworks rather than one-off collaborations.
• Experiment with different creator formats, audiences and incentive structures.
• Measure creator-led acquisition and retention rigorously.4. Retention & Lifecycle Growth
• Develop CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Improve repeat purchase and customer retention.
• Build segmentation and personalised customer journeys.
• Identify behavioural triggers and opportunities for cross-sell/up-sell.
• Partner with product to improve activation and long-term engagement.5. Marketplace & Supply-Side Growth
• Help build scalable mechanisms for supply acquisition and activation.
• Improve supply-side engagement and marketplace liquidity.
• Support geographic and category expansion.
• Improve utilisation and economics across the network.6. New Channel Development
• Build growth channels beyond the existing digital acquisition engine.
• Explore offline distribution, strategic partnerships, community-led growth, institutional/corporate partnerships,and ecosystem partnerships.
• Take promising channels from 0→1 and then 1→10.7. Growth P&L; & Business Operations
• Own channel-level P&Ls; and budgets.
• Make investment decisions based on CAC, LTV, contribution and payback.
• Build forecasting and growth models.
• Identify operational bottlenecks that restrict growth.
• Work with Finance, Product, Operations and Business teams to translate growth opportunities into execution.8. Build the Team
• Hire and develop high-quality growth talent.
• Create clear ownership across acquisition, retention, CRM, partnerships and analytics.
• Build processes and operating rhythms without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Develop a high-ownership, experimentation-driven culture.What We're Looking ForExperience
• 3–7+ years of relevant experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
• Significant experience in consumer internet, D2C, marketplace, fintech, e-commerce, travel, food-tech or other high-scale consumer businesses.
• Strong experience in a startup or high-growth environment, preferably having owned a function or major growth charter.
• Demonstrated experience scaling one or more growth channels from 0→1 or 1→10.
• Strong hands-on experience in performance marketing, retention/lifecycle marketing and/or marketplace growth.
• Experience managing meaningful channel budgets and understanding channel-level P&L.
• Experience building and managing teams.We particularly value

• Can go deep when required. You can discuss strategy with founders in one meeting and dive into campaign-level data, funnels or cohort behaviour the next.
• Build systems, not hacks. You're looking to create repeatable growth engines rather than chase short-term spikes.
• Know how to build teams. You can attract strong people, give them ownership and create a high-performance environment.
• Are comfortable with ambiguity. Utsav is building a category that is still evolving. We need someone who is excited by that—not someone who needs an established playbook.What Success Looks Like
