As the organization continues to grow and evolve, the incoming CIO will play an influential role in shaping its enterprise technology strategy and long-term operational future.This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” technology position.Heritage is seeking a highly strategic, collaborative, and operationally disciplined executive who can serve as a trusted business partner to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors. The CIO will help align technology with business growth, customer experience, cybersecurity, operational resilience, regulatory readiness, data governance, digital banking, and enterprise scalability.The successful executive will bring:10–15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least five years in a CIO, CTO, or comparable executive roleSenior technology leadership experience within multi-state banking or regulated financial servicesProven success leading enterprise modernization, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application architecture, governance, data, and highly available customer-facing environmentsExperience overseeing complex vendor ecosystems, systems integrations, and third-party technology partnershipsThe executive presence to communicate effectively with business leaders, Boards, regulators, auditors, and other key stakeholdersA collaborative, transparent, humble, and accountable leadership styleA genuine commitment to coaching, developing, and building high-performing technology teamsHeritage Bank values partnership, transparency, accountability, employee development, servant leadership, and customer-first thinking.
