Lauderdale, USTHE ROLE:The Chief Information Officer (CIO) (m/f/d) is responsible for building and continuously evolving the Digital Enterprise Platform of IGEL. Reporting to the CTO, the CIO ensures that Enterprise IT is a competitive differentiator that enables innovation, customer trust, engineering excellence, and global business growth. The CIO leads Enterprise IT, Enterprise Architecture, AI Transformation, Workplace Technology, Enterprise Applications, Cloud Operations, and IT Governance while ensuring IGEL operates as the flagship deployment of its own Secure Endpoint Platform.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Enterprise Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the global enterprise technology strategy aligned with IGEL's long-term business objectives and growth plans.AI-First Enterprise: Lead enterprise-wide AI strategy, governance, and adoption, embedding AI into software engineering, IT operations, and business processes to improve productivity and decision-making.IGEL@IGEL: Lead the IGEL@IGEL program, ensuring Corporate IT serves as the flagship deployment and reference architecture for IGEL OS and the Secure Endpoint Platform.Enterprise Infrastructure: Build and operate secure, resilient, high-performance global infrastructure supporting employees, engineering teams, cloud services, and distributed R&D centers.Developer Experience: Provide world-class developer platforms, CI/CD, automation, collaboration tools, and cloud services that maximize engineering velocity.Security & Compliance: Partner with the CISO to maintain ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2, and customer-driven security requirements while ensuring secure-by-design IT operations.Enterprise Architecture: Define enterprise architecture standards that support scalability, acquisitions, global expansion, and technology modernization.Business Continuity: Lead business continuity, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and enterprise risk management.Enterprise Applications: Own the enterprise application portfolio, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics, ServiceNow, Atlassian, identity platforms, and future AI-native business systems.Operational Excellence: Drive automation, platform engineering, observability and continuous service improvement across Enterprise IT.Leadership: Recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing global IT teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Vendor & Financial Management: Manage strategic technology partnerships, sourcing, budgeting, and investment planning to maximize business value.Leadership Principles:AI First – Evaluate every process for AI-driven productivity and automation.Secure by Design – Embed Zero Trust, resilience, and compliance into every service.Run on IGEL – Operate Corporate IT as the showcase deployment of IGEL technology.Developer First – Optimize platforms that maximize engineering productivity.Business Outcomes over IT Outputs – Measure success by business impact rather than infrastructure activity.Global by Default – Design technology for globally distributed teams and rapid growth.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.10+ years of executive IT leadership experience in a software, SaaS, cloud, or cybersecurity company.Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, secure endpoint technologies, Zero Trust, identity, networking, and enterprise architecture.Demonstrated success leading enterprise AI transformation and large-scale automation initiatives.Experience supporting globally distributed engineering organizations and multiple R&D locations.Strong knowledge of enterprise governance, security certifications, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.Outstanding leadership, communication, organizational, and financial management skills.Success Measures:Developer Productivity IndexEmployee Digital Experience ScoreEnterprise AI Adoption and measurable business impactAutomation Rate across IT and business processesSecurity Posture, audit readiness, and complianceIGEL@IGEL as the flagship customer reference deploymentTechnology contribution to business growth, innovation, and customer confidenceInterested?
