Team members collaborate with a diverse range of clients that are seeking scalable, future-ready technology solutions.Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Innowinds’ overall information technology vision and strategy. This role oversees IT operations across the organization, ensuring systems, infrastructure, and security frameworks reliably support business objectives and client engagements. The CIO will lead the planning and implementation of technology initiatives, including data management platforms, digital commerce solutions, and enterprise applications, aligning them with organizational priorities and industry best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing IT teams, setting performance metrics, overseeing budgets, evaluating new technologies, and maintaining strong governance and compliance standards. Compensation: Competitive base salary + executive bonus pool + equity/stock options.QualificationsStrong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with experience overseeing enterprise systems, infrastructure, and security.Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Strategy, including long-term technology planning, governance, and alignment with business goals.Proficiency in optimizing Business Process through technology, with a track record of improving efficiency, scalability, and data quality.Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a remote or distributed environment.Experience with data management, digital commerce, and enterprise application development; familiarity with PIM, DAM, MDM, and eCommerce solutions is an advantage.Solid understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management within an IT consulting or enterprise setting.Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, PMP, cloud certifications) are preferred.
