Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe OpportunityWe are seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Information Officer to lead the technology function through its next phase of growth. This executive will own the vision, roadmap, and execution for enterprise technology—building secure, scalable systems that improve how teams work, how leaders make decisions, and how the organization serves its customers.The CIO will partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to translate business priorities into practical technology solutions. This is an opportunity to modernize infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity and data governance, develop a high-performing IT team, and create a technology environment that supports long-term growth.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute the company’s technology strategy, ensuring IT investments directly support business priorities, operational scalability, and long-term growth.Lead all core technology functions, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, end-user support, cybersecurity, data, business intelligence, and IT operations.Assess the current technology environment and build a clear roadmap for modernization, automation, systems integration, and operational improvement.Partner with executive and functional leaders to identify pain points, prioritize initiatives, and deliver technology solutions that improve productivity and outcomes.Establish a strong cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, and disaster-recovery framework to protect company systems, data, and operations.Oversee the selection, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise platforms, including CRM, ERP, collaboration tools, workflow systems, analytics platforms, and other business-critical applications.Build and lead a high-performing internal technology organization, including hiring, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and vendor oversight.Create scalable IT processes, service standards, documentation, and governance practices that deliver a reliable experience for employees across the organization.Drive data maturity by improving data quality, reporting, analytics, access controls, and the use of actionable insights in decision-making.Manage the technology budget, vendor relationships, contracts, and external partners; ensure investments are efficient, measurable, and aligned with company goals.Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing clear recommendations on technology opportunities, risks, emerging tools, and investment priorities.Champion responsible adoption of AI, automation, and other emerging technologies where they can create meaningful business value.What You’ll Bring12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant experience leading enterprise IT, digital transformation, or technology operations in a complex, growth-oriented organization.Proven experience developing and executing a technology roadmap that improves scalability, security, efficiency, and user experience.Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, systems integration, data platforms, analytics, and IT service delivery.Experience leading modernization initiatives, including migrations, platform implementations, process automation, and large-scale change management.Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain strong technology teams while effectively managing outside vendors and partners.A practical understanding of security, business continuity, disaster recovery, privacy, compliance, and technology risk management.Strong financial and operational discipline, with experience managing budgets, evaluating technology investments, and negotiating vendor agreements.Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to explain complex technology decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.A business-first mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.What Success Looks LikeA clear, prioritized technology roadmap that leadership understands and supports.A secure, reliable, scalable technology environment that enables teams to operate efficiently.Stronger data visibility and reporting to support faster, better business decisions.Modernized systems and workflows that reduce friction, manual work, and operational risk.A capable, accountable technology organization known as a proactive business partner.
