Chief Information Officer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Information Officer (CIO). The CIO will oversee the organization’s information technology vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT operations, managing IT teams and vendors, prioritizing technology initiatives, and overseeing budgets and resources. The role involves designing and implementing IT governance frameworks, leading cybersecurity and risk management efforts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The CIO will collaborate with executive leadership to optimize business processes, drive digital transformation, and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance efficiency, resilience, and growth.QualificationsStrong foundation in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, and security, and the ability to make informed technology decisions.Experience in IT Operations, with a track record of managing day-to-day IT services, uptime, performance, and support in complex environments.Proven IT Management skills, including leading cross-functional teams, vendor management, budgeting, and resource planning.Demonstrated capability in IT Strategy, with experience defining technology roadmaps that align with organizational goals and drive innovation.Expertise in Business Process analysis and optimization, using technology to streamline workflows and improve organizational efficiency.Prior executive or senior leadership experience in IT or related fields, ideally within medium to large organizations.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, PMP, ISACA) are beneficial.
