HENRIKEN CONSULTING fosters a dynamic environment where continuous improvement and client satisfaction are central to its culture.Role Description The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan, responsible for overseeing the organization’s information security strategy and implementation. The CISO will develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to protect critical systems, applications, and data. Day-to-day activities include leading security risk assessments, monitoring threats, coordinating incident response, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business objectives, manage security awareness programs, and guide the design of secure architectures. The CISO will also oversee security audits, vendor assessments, and continuity plans to ensure resilience and operational reliability.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Information Security and Information Security Management skills, including policy development, governance, and risk management.Candidates should possess solid Cybersecurity skills, with experience in threat detection, incident response, and security operations.Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including secure software development practices, code review, and vulnerability management for applications.Candidates should possess Business Continuity skills, with experience designing and maintaining disaster recovery and continuity plans.Candidates should have proven leadership and team management capabilities, with experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.Candidates should have relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) and a strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.Candidates should have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced environment.Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are an advantage.
