Chief Information Security Officer

We are looking for an experienced CISO / Acting CISO to lead cybersecurity, compliance, and secure architecture across complex hybrid environments (On-Premise & Cloud) for a public/municipal organization.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:At least 3–4 years of experience as a CISO, Information Security Manager, or Acting CISO in a mid-to-large organization or public/municipal entityProven experience in secure architecture design (infrastructure, data, applications, APIs) and hands-on guidance from planning to productionStrong track record in real-time cyber incident response (IR/SOC management, containment, root-cause investigation, and executive reporting)Hands-on expertise with security controls: SOC, EDR/XDR, FW, WAF, DLP, CASB, M365, Entra ID, and network security (VPN/ZTNA, segmentation)In-depth knowledge of privacy regulations, Israel National Cyber Directorate directives, and public sector complianceExperience in defining security policies, vendor security assessments, RFPs, and executive risk managementRelevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CRISC, CISO) – Strongly PreferredSolid familiarity with AWS environmentsPrevious experience in a municipal, public, or high-compliance entity – Significant AdvantageInterested?Send your CV today!Why Comblack?Comblack is a company dedicated to creating accurate and meaningful connections between people and the right opportunities.
