Chief Information Security Officer

Role Overview:We are seeking an ambitious, high-caliber security leader to serve as our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This position is ideal for an experienced Deputy CISO ready to step into their first CISO role, or a current CISO early in their head-of-department executive career looking to make a high-impact mark. You will take full ownership of our enterprise security posture, driving modern cybersecurity strategies, risk management, and team leadership in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute a modern, scalable enterprise cybersecurity roadmap aligned with core business objectives.Incident Response & Operations: Lead the security operations team in threat management, vulnerability assessments, and incident response strategy.Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable industry frameworks, oversight standards, and legal requirements while maintaining a practical risk-tolerance posture.Board & C-Suite Advisory: Serve as the strategic security advisor to executive leadership and the Board, communicating complex technical risks in clear business terms.Team Development: Build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing security culture, promoting internal talent and modern technical capabilities.QualificationsExperience: Proven track record as a Deputy CISO, VP of Information Security, or early-stage CISO.Technical Depth & Vision: Strong background across cloud security, threat governance, identity management, and architecture.Leadership: Demonstrated success leading incident response and managing security talent through organizational transitions.Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge technical detail with business risk for executive stakeholders.Location Preference: Based in or willing to work hybrid within the Philadelphia, PA / Southern New Jersey corridor.
