Chief Investment Officer (Family Office, Public Markets)

Oneira Talent Solutions are delighted to support the growth of a new single family office. The principal is the UHNWI founder of an established operating business, looking to diversify wealth into financial assets.The investment mandate is heavy on public markets, split between public equities and fixed income. 90% indirect fund allocations.We are looking for someone that has covered global public market fund allocation. Ideally equities and fixed income. But equities is the core focus and main requirement.To clarify, this is is a portfolio management and allocation role, not a trading role.The roleA strategic seat, bridging the investment team and the Principal. The first C-level hire.Lead and develop the existing investment teamAsset allocation and portfolio construction across equities and fixed income (plus a very small amount of private markets)Manager and fund selection, with occasional direct investmentsDue diligence and ongoing monitoringPortfolio rebalancing and position weightingBuild out the investment process, IC discipline and reporting to the PrincipalOversee FII / FDI considerations and risk mitigation across the portfolioManage relationships with external managers, banks, brokers and custodiansScope to grow direct investment over timeWhat we’re looking forSenior investment professional with an allocator background: manager selection, fund allocation, multi-manager portfoliosStrong global equities experience is essential. Fixed income exposure is a strong plusFamily office experience is highly preferred. Candidates from multi-manager asset managers or institutional investors will also be consideredComfortable working closely with a founder-principal in a lean, entrepreneurial settingCurrently based in the UAECandidates currently at PM, Senior PM, or Head of Investment level will be considered.
