Chief Learning Officer

Role Description The Chief Learning Officer (CLO) is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and leading the organization’s learning and development strategy across all teams. This role oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs that strengthen financial expertise, product knowledge, leadership capabilities, and regulatory awareness. Daily activities include collaborating with senior leadership to identify skill gaps, setting learning priorities, and aligning training initiatives with business goals. The CLO guides the development of curricula and instructional materials, manages learning platforms, and ensures data-driven measurement of training effectiveness. This role also involves mentoring L&D staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and keeping learning practices aligned with evolving trends in financial markets and digital education.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills to design and manage comprehensive learning initiatives.Candidates should possess Instructional Design and Curriculum Development skills to create effective, engaging, and scalable learning content.Candidates should possess Leadership Development expertise to build programs that enhance managerial and leadership capabilities across the organization.Advanced knowledge of learning technologies, learning management systems (LMS), and data-driven evaluation of training outcomes.Proven experience in senior learning or talent development roles, preferably in financial services, fintech, or data-driven organizations.Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.Relevant bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in education, organizational development, business, or a related field is an advantage.
