We're looking for an experienced in-house Gaffer to join us at our studio facility,RD Studios, taking ownership of all lighting and rigging across our productions and helping maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.What you'll be doing:Overseeing all lighting and rigging requirements for our productionsWorking closely with the production team to understand each project's needsDesigning lighting and rigging plansSetting up and rigging lighting and other equipment, on set or on locationMaintaining all lighting and rigging equipment for safety and functionalityTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they ariseOperating DMX and desk controlsUpholding a high standard of safety on set and on locationEnsuring all electrical and rigging work meets the highest quality and safety standardsKeeping accurate records of electrical and rigging work performedContributing input on future equipment purchases and studio plansWhat we're looking for:Minimum three years' experience in a similar roleElectrical and electronic engineering qualifications requiredRigging qualificationsMust be scissor lift or forklift trained; both is a bonusSolid knowledge of DMX and desk operationWillingness and ability to work at the studio and on locationFull driving licenceExcellent communication skillsStrong organisational skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Gaffer or rigger to join a dynamic, growing team in a fast-paced, exciting industry.To apply: please send your resume, cover letter, and links to relevant work.
