The CMO will provide clinical leadership and oversight of medical services, ensuring high standards of care, patient safety, and adherence to evidence-based practices across departments. This role includes developing and implementing clinical protocols, supporting utilization management initiatives, and collaborating with medical, nursing, and administrative teams to optimize resource use and quality outcomes. The CMO will work closely with senior management on strategic planning, managed care initiatives, and medical affairs, including credentialing, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include mentoring physicians, leading quality improvement projects, engaging in multidisciplinary case reviews, and representing the medical staff in organizational decision-making.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and leading multidisciplinary teams.Candidates should possess skills in Utilization Management and Managed Care to ensure efficient use of resources, appropriate clinical decision-making, and alignment with payer requirements.Candidates should possess experience in Medical Affairs, including physician relations, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and policy development.Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills to guide service expansion, quality initiatives, and long-term clinical programs in line with organizational goals.Medical degree (MBBS) with relevant postgraduate qualification and valid registration; prior experience in a senior clinical leadership role, preferably as CMO or Medical Director.Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clinicians, staff, patients, and external stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, patient safety programs, and data-driven decision-making.Commitment to patient-centric care, ethical medical practice, and continuous professional development.
