L.L.C. was established in 1984 to support the rapid growth of the United Arab Emirates’ oil sector, the backbone of the national economy. The company was founded with technical support from Western Company of the USA and is owned by UAE national Mr. Mohammed A. Al Otaiba. It began by servicing Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO) with cementing, stimulation, and downhole tools, and has since expanded to provide onshore and offshore services. Emirates Western delivers enhanced oil recovery and stimulation solutions for leading local and international operators, using advanced techniques such as foam diverting via specialized stimulation vessels. Its technical engineering department designs detailed stimulation programs for oil, gas, and injector wells, implemented by experienced staff using high technical standards and specialized equipment.Role Description The Chief Officer is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This role oversees day-to-day operational performance across drilling, maintenance, and stimulation activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry and regulatory standards. The Chief Officer leads cross-functional teams, coordinates with engineering, operations, and client representatives, and ensures that project plans, stimulation programs, and service contracts are executed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include setting strategic priorities, monitoring key performance indicators, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and technical practices. The role also involves building strong relationships with local and international oil companies, representing the organization in high-level meetings, and mentoring managers and supervisors to maintain a high-performing, safety-focused culture.Qualifications Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary operational teams in the energy or oil and gas sector.Proven expertise in oil well drilling, completion, stimulation, and enhanced oil recovery operations, preferably in onshore and offshore environments.Solid background in operational planning, project management, and performance monitoring, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to oilfield services.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with clients, partners, and internal departments.Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees are an advantage.Previous senior leadership experience in oilfield services or a similar industry within the GCC or international markets is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, and adapt to a fast-paced, operational environment.
