CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER — WOI.ECOBuilding Better Worlds Through Better Ecosystems.WOI.Eco is a global organization transforming nations into entrepreneurial and innovation-led economies by working with governments, investors, corporations, universities, institutions and entrepreneurs to connect the talent, capital, infrastructure, platforms, partnerships and opportunities required for entrepreneurship, innovation and new industries to thrive.As we enter our next phase of global expansion, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help turn this vision into execution.THE MANDATEThis is not a conventional COO role.You will work directly with the Chairman and global leadership team to build the operating architecture of WOI.Eco and help translate our strategy into execution across countries.Your mandate will include:• Building and executing WOI.Eco's global operating strategy• Translating country-level opportunities into structured execution roadmaps• Building leadership teams, operating systems and performance frameworks• Overseeing strategic ecosystem projects across markets• Driving partnerships with governments, investors, corporations and institutions• Establishing governance, reporting, financial discipline and decision-making systems• Coordinating country leadership and cross-functional teams• Supporting WOI.Eco's expansion into new national ecosystems• Planning and overseeing WOI.Eco's global retreats, summits and strategic events• Driving the development of a technology platform connecting WOI.Eco's ecosystems globally• Ensuring that strategy consistently translates into measurable outcomesWHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDINGWOI.Eco is developing platforms that can include:National Entrepreneurship Ecosystems | Startup Parks | Venture & Innovation Platforms | Centres of Excellence | Venture Studios | Investor Networks | Institutional Platforms | Ecosystem CitiesThese platforms will be developed across different nations, working with governments and key stakeholders to build stronger entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems.The COO will help create the systems, people and execution engine required to operate these initiatives at scale.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a senior operator who has already built, scaled or transformed organizations.Ideally:10–15+ years of senior leadership experienceExperience as a COO, Managing Director, Business Head, Country Head or equivalentStrong experience in strategy execution and organizational scalingInternational or multi-market exposureExperience managing complex stakeholder environmentsStrong understanding of governments, investors, institutions, corporations or entrepreneurial ecosystemsExceptional leadership, communication and decision-making abilityA high level of ownership and comfort operating in ambiguityMost importantly, you should be someone who can look at an ambitious vision and answer:“How do we actually build this?”WHY THIS ROLE MATTERSWOI.Eco is not building another company that operates within one market.We are building a global network of entrepreneurial ecosystems.The opportunity is to work on initiatives that sit at the intersection of economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation and investment—and to play a direct role in shaping how ecosystems are built and scaled across nations.This is a role for someone who wants to build the institution, not simply operate the institution.LOCATIONUAE LEVELExecutive Leadership | Full-timeIf you have the experience to build systems at scale, the leadership maturity to work with governments and institutions, and the ambition to contribute to something larger than a single companywe would like to hear from you.Send your CV / LinkedIn profile with a brief note outlining the most significant organization, market or transformation you have led.WOI.EcoBuilding Better Worlds Through Better Ecosystems.
