By integrating these aspects of family life, FamilyOS aims to reduce stress, improve communication, and support safer, more organized homes for users.Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time leadership role based in Paris with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The COO will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that processes, teams, and systems are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities include designing and improving operational workflows, managing cross-functional execution, and establishing performance metrics to drive efficiency and quality. The COO will collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team on business planning, financial oversight, and resource allocation, while leading operational risk management and compliance efforts. This role also involves building and mentoring high-performing teams, strengthening internal communication, and supporting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Qualifications Strong business planning and strategic management skills, with the ability to translate company vision into executable operational plans.Proven experience in operations management and process optimization, ideally in a technology or consumer-facing platform environment.Robust analytical skills for interpreting data, setting KPIs, and making evidence-based decisions.Solid grounding in finance and budgeting, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.Experience leading and developing diverse teams, with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and clear communication.Background in senior leadership or C-level roles, preferably in startups or rapidly scaling organizations.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Paris, with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.Advanced degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
