The COO ensures the right people, processes, reporting, and standards are in place so the company can grow profitably and sustainably.This is not a passive executive seat. The right person is a hands-on operator who can identify performance gaps, create structure, hold leaders accountable, and drive execution across multiple departments.The COO reports directly to the Owner and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team.Duties Include, But Are Not Limited ToPartner with the CEO to translate company vision into clear operational goals, priorities, scorecards, and execution plansLead company-wide operating cadence, including departmental accountability, performance tracking, and leadership follow-throughOversee operational performance across departments to ensure workflows, systems, and processes support profitable growthReview departmental scorecards, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective action when results fall below standardBuild and improve scalable systems, processes, reporting structures, and accountability rhythms across the organizationSupport leadership team members in creating clear goals, priorities, training expectations, and performance standards for their departmentsAnalyze operational data, financial performance, and budget trends to guide business decisions and improve company outcomesEnsure recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention systems support long-term organizational healthMaintain strong relationships with key vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to support execution and business continuityReinforce company standards, policies, core values, and operating expectations across the organizationIdeal Candidate Experience And Skill-setsProven experience leading operations, departments, teams, or business units with measurable performance accountabilityStrong ability to turn vision and strategy into clear plans, priorities, systems, and execution rhythmsExperience managing leaders, improving processes, and holding teams accountable to KPIs and business outcomesStrong financial and operational acumen with ability to interpret scorecards, budgets, trends, and performance dataExperience building scalable operating systems, reporting structures, and cross-departmental workflowsAbility to identify problems quickly, make sound decisions, and drive corrective action without waiting for directionStrong leadership presence with the ability to coach, challenge, and support department leadersHigh ownership, strong follow-through, and ability to operate with minimal oversightExperience in real estate investing, construction, sales, finance, or property-related operations is beneficial but not requiredStrong alignment with a performance-driven culture built around accountability, stewardship, and resultsWhat do I get?Competitive starting salary with bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and vacationRetirement plan with a company contribution matchImportantWe kindly ask that all interested candidates submit an application prior to contacting us directly.
