About the Role

Cultural Assets Group is seeking a Group Chief Operating Officer to lead the operational activities of the Group and its subsidiary companies. Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group COO will ensure the achievement of strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, drive integration across subsidiaries, and improve the quality of execution and operational performance, while ensuring full compliance with the Group's governance, policies, and approved standards.The role leads efforts in operational excellence, performance management, process development, and operational sustainability in support of the Group's growth, expansion, and financial, operational, and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities

Group Operational Leadership:Lead and manage the operational performance of all subsidiary companies and Group projectsTranslate the Group's strategy into actionable operational plans at the subsidiary levelTrack the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure delivery within approved timelinesSupport the CEOs of subsidiary companies in addressing operational challenges and improvingPerformance and Operations Management:Develop and monitor operational KPIs at both Group and subsidiary levelsAnalyze variances and put in place the required corrective action plansSubmit periodic reports to the Group CEO and the Executive Committee on operational performance and challengesLead initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity and to reduce waste and operating costsProcess Development and Operational Governance:Develop and standardize operational frameworks, policies, and procedures across the GroupOversee the improvement of operational processes to deliver agility, efficiency, and sustainabilityOversee the design and activation of operational frameworks and internal controlsSubsidiary Management and Enterprise Integration:Strengthen integration and coordination across subsidiaries to maximize the value of shared resources and expertiseSupport the deployment and effective use of Shared Services modelsOversee the allocation of operational resources in line with Group prioritiesSupport the operational and execution dimensions of new Group expansions and projectsOperational Transformation and Development:Lead operational and digital transformation initiativesSupport process automation and the enhancement of operational systemsAdopt international best practices in operations and enterprise managementFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across subsidiariesOperational Risk and Compliance:Oversee operational risk management and mitigation plansEnsure subsidiary compliance with applicable regulations and approved policiesWork with Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure integrated enterprise governanceEnsure readiness of business continuity plans and effective management of operational crisesStakeholder Management:Act as a strategic partner to the Group CEO and Group Executive ManagementRepresent the operational dimension in executive and strategic forumsSupport the Board of Directors and Executive Committees on matters relating to performance and operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree (MBA) or equivalent preferredMinimum 15 years of experience in operations or executive managementMinimum 7 years of leadership experience in an executive or senior supervisory roleExperience managing multiple companies, group structures, or complex operational environmentsExperience in enterprise transformation, process improvement, and corporate performance management - Experience in cultural, entertainment, retail, or multi-business sectors is preferredSkills and Knowledge:Senior-level executive leadership and operations management capabilitiesStrong performance management and decision-making skillsAdvanced analytical, strategic, and operational planning skillsProven experience building operating models and operational governance frameworksAdvanced change management and enterprise transformation capabilitiesStrong stakeholder management and executive engagement skillsAdvanced understanding of governance, risk management, and corporate complianceProfessional negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsFull professional fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken
