Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. The COO will oversee day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring clinical and non-clinical services run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with strategic objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating departments, optimizing patient flow and resource utilization, and supporting quality improvement and compliance initiatives. The COO will collaborate with senior medical and administrative leadership on operational planning, performance monitoring, and implementing policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include supporting budgeting and financial stewardship, managing key vendor and partner relationships, and leading cross-functional projects to enhance patient experience and organizational effectiveness.Qualifications Strong Operations Management and Business Planning skills, with experience overseeing complex healthcare or service-oriented environments.Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting, including cost control, resource allocation, and supporting financial sustainability.Robust Analytical Skills to interpret operational and financial data, identify trends, and drive evidence-based decisions.Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Experience in hospital or healthcare administration is highly beneficial, including familiarity with regulatory standards and quality improvement frameworks.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing priorities and maintaining accountability across on-site and remote work.Relevant academic background in healthcare administration, business, management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are beneficial.
