Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Logistics

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our logistics operations, drive business growth, develop commercial strategies, and ensure strong financial and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesDevelop and implement strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in transportation, warehousing, and logistics.Expand the company’s client portfolio through networking, market research, and business development.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.Monitor sales performance, forecasts, pipelines, and KPIs.Finance & CollectionMonitor the company’s financial performance and ensure alignment with business targets.Work closely with the Finance team to monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability.Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding customer payments.Oversee and improve the collection process and reduce overdue accounts.Follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment commitments.Monitor accounts receivable and provide regular collection reports to management.Support pricing and commercial decisions to ensure profitability.Review contracts and commercial terms from a financial and profitability perspective.Operations & Client ManagementCoordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure high-quality and timely service delivery.Address customer operational concerns and ensure prompt resolution.Ensure smooth communication between sales, operations, customer service, and finance.Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Team LeadershipLead, supervise, and develop the sales and operational teams.Set performance objectives and monitor team KPIs.Conduct regular meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations.Develop and mentor Saudi employees to support Saudization initiatives.Compliance & AdministrationEnsure all business activities comply with company policies and applicable Saudi regulations.Maintain confidentiality of client information, pricing, contracts, and financial data.Prepare management reports covering sales, operations, finance, collections, and business performance.Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.RequirementsProven experience in a senior management or COO role within logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a related industry.Strong experience in business development, sales, and commercial management.Good understanding of finance, profitability, cash flow, and collections.Proven experience managing and developing teams.Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Strong understanding of the Saudi logistics market.Ability to analyze business performance and make strategic decisions.
