Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Head of Operations / VP OperationsLocation: Pune, Maharashtra (On-site)SVTN Group is at an inflection point. We have built a strong foundation in Pune’s construction and real estate sector, and our project pipeline is growing fast. To take the company to the next level, we are transitioning from a founder-led growth phase to a process-led scale phase.We are looking for a senior operations leader who knows the construction business inside out. We don't need someone to just sit in the head office and make strategy decks. We need a builder—someone who can design and enforce the systems that will run our sites, our estimation team, and our supply chain.What you will actually do:Standardize execution: Build and enforce clear SOPs across the board. Specifically, you will streamline our tendering and estimation workflows so our bids are accurate and submitted on time, every time.Drive ERP adoption: We have the ERP software; we need the operational discipline to make it the single source of truth for the company. You will ensure every project, vendor, and material receipt is tracked digitally.Raise the bar on site management: Implement strict, non-negotiable standards for site safety, quality control, and daily documentation.Fix resource planning: Move us away from ad-hoc hiring. You will build a reliable, empaneled network of subcontractors and labor partners so we are never scrambling for manpower mid-project.Who we are looking for:15+ years of experience in construction and infrastructure operations.The right pedigree: You need to have spent a significant part of your career in a highly structured, Tier-1 construction firm (like L&T, Shapoorji, Tata Projects, etc.). You need to know what "good" looks like at scale.The right mindset: You also need the hustle to work in a growing, mid-sized firm. You can't just rely on a massive corporate support staff to get things done. You need to be hands-on.B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering is a must. An MBA or PMP is a strong plus.You are comfortable in the boardroom, but you will also be walking the sites regularly.Why join us:You will report directly to the CMD and have the complete backing of the leadership team.
