The long term ambition is much bigger: machines that can take on physical work wherever human capability is needed most on Earth and eventually beyond it.OverviewWork alongside the CEO to turn Telekin’s technology and vision into a company that can hire, deploy and operate at scale. Over the next 18 months, your central objective will be to establish Telekin’s first Action Center in Honduras and build the operational foundations required to support the company’s first paid deployments.This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable moving between people, operations, fundraising, customer relationships and execution. You will be expected to bring structure without slowing the company down, own day-to-day delivery across multiple locations and become a close thought partner to the CEO.DutiesEstablish and launch Telekin’s first Action Center in Honduras.Build the hiring engine for teams in California and Honduras, including role definition, sourcing, interviewing, offers and onboarding.Recruit and manage Action Center managers, teleoperators and field technicians.Create practical operating processes for deployment, training, performance management and quality control.Keep teams aligned and accountable across locations, time zones and functions.Support fundraising, from early investor conversations through diligence and closing.Maintain relationships with farmers in the commercial pipeline and help develop new opportunities in California and neighbouring states.Oversee business administration and ensure operational details are handled accurately and on time.Work with the engineering team on procurement, production planning, testing and field deployment.Partner closely with the CEO on company priorities, organisational decisions and the next phase of team building.RequirementsYou have built and managed operational teams, ideally across more than one location or country.You have managed at least 10 people directly and can show evidence of creating accountability without excessive bureaucracy.You have designed and run hiring processes from scratch.You are fluent in Spanish and English.You are highly organized, meticulous and dependable, while still moving quickly in an early-stage environment.You are comfortable owning both high-level priorities and the less glamorous administrative work required to make them happen.You communicate clearly, do not knowingly overpromise and take responsibility for outcomes.You are willing to travel regularly between California, Honduras and customer locations.AdvantagesExperience launching a new operational site, service center or distributed workforce.Experience managing large frontline, field or shift-based teams.Exposure to agriculture, robotics, hardware, logistics or other operationally complex businesses.Experience supporting fundraising or investor relations.Existing relationships in agriculture, particularly in California.Existing relationships in Central America.Experience working closely with a technical founder or CEO.Tell us why you're awesome via our website: www.telekin.tech
