This role oversees sourcing strategies for apparel, materials, and retail fixtures, ensuring consistent quality, cost efficiency, and timely availability. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement policies, managing vendor selection and performance, negotiating contracts, and coordinating closely with design, merchandising, operations, and finance teams. The Chief Procurement Officer monitors supply chain risks, optimizes inventory levels, and leverages data to enhance procurement processes and supplier relationships. This position also leads the procurement team, provides strategic guidance, and promotes ethical, sustainable sourcing practices aligned with LOOXS’ brand values.Qualifications Strong expertise in procurement and supply management, including strategic sourcing and category management.Demonstrated skills in contract negotiation and contract management, with experience securing favorable and compliant agreements.Proficiency in supply chain management, including vendor coordination, logistics alignment, and risk mitigation.Experience in fashion, retail, or consumer goods procurement is highly beneficial.Proven leadership abilities in managing cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.Advanced analytical and decision-making skills, with proficiency in procurement and ERP tools.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
