Chief StewardDeliver Outstanding Service Aboard a Luxury VesselA confidential opportunity is available for an accomplished Chief Steward to lead guest service and interior operations aboard a privately operated luxury vessel in Hong Kong.The role calls for thoughtful, polished service that feels natural, discreet and responsive to guest needs.We are seeking someone who takes pride in anticipating details, maintaining excellent presentation standards and creating a seamless onboard experience.The OpportunityYou will oversee the vessel’s interior, service delivery, housekeeping, provisioning and overall guest readiness. This is a hands-on appointment for someone who can set high standards and personally deliver them.Key areas of responsibility include:Preparing all guest and interior areas before voyagesDelivering polished formal and informal food and beverage serviceMaintaining guest cabins, housekeeping and turndown standardsManaging laundry, ironing, linen and wardrobe careMaintaining pantry supplies, beverages, wine and guest amenitiesManaging provisioning, purchasing and onboard inventoriesKeeping accurate records of preferences, allergies and dietary requirementsCoordinating external catering and specialist service providers when requiredResetting and restocking the vessel promptly after each voyageBriefing and supervising temporary service staff when additional support is requiredCoordinating closely with the onboard team on schedules and voyage preparationMaintaining strict confidentiality regarding guests, vessel operations and travel arrangementsWhat We Are Looking ForYou will bring genuine service instinct, mature judgement and a strong sense of personal ownership.Relevant experience should come from one or more of these environments:Private or charter yachts (MUST HAVE)Premium private aviationFive-star hotels or resortsHigh-end private clubsButler or luxury residential servicePrevious Chief or Sole Steward experience is preferred. A highly capable Second Steward ready to step into broader responsibility may also be considered.You will also be:Fluent in English and ChineseHighly capable in hands-on housekeeping and guest serviceWell organized in purchasing, provisioning and stock controlAttentive and personable while maintaining professional boundariesCalm and adaptable when schedules or guest requirements changeOpen to feedback and able to act on it quicklyDisciplined and trustworthy when handling confidential informationAvailable for flexible hours, weekends, public holidays and occasional overnight voyages
