Chief Technical Officer (R&D, Manu. and Production)

QLM Technology is scaling and we are looking for a new leader for the technical side of our business.This role will sit alongside the CEO and lead everything from R&D and Product Development through to Production, Data and Customer Support. Leading a team of 13+ specialist in Photonics, this role will set the technology roadmap enabling the business to scale is manufacturing capability in line with demand.Key requirements:Strong background leading complex manufacturing operations.Experienced in the commercial and strategic side of business and ensuring the tech aligns with the business goals.Ideally have worked in a large global operation and know what best in class looks like, but also have exp. of a smaller growing manufacturing business.You should have an MSc/PhD in Engineering/Physics or related technical field.Being based close to Bristol and be willing to travel to our manu. sites in Paignton and Cardiff.QLM have developed Quantum LiDAR technology which is being used to detect and monitor emissions produced by the O&G and WasteWater industries.This technology has great environmental and sustainable benefits and could evolve to focus on the renewable energy space in the future.To prove you have read this far and not just "clicked apply" please email me at ben.henry@qlmtec.com with your CV and we can set-up a call.Thanks
