In this role, you will support the White House Military Office (WHMO), the team dedicated to providing critical military and operational support to the President of the United States. Together, DISA and WHMO ensure the continuity, security, and reliability of the communications and mission‑essential functions that enable the President and White House staff to operate effectively around the world.Position Overview:The CTEO serves as WHMO’s senior executive for enterprise‑wide technology advancement, shaping how critical infrastructure, emerging capabilities, and long‑range modernization come together to support national‑level missions. This leader drives the evolution of WHMO’s digital ecosystem—ensuring platforms are resilient, future‑ready, and positioned to integrate breakthrough technologies at speed.Operating at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and executive decision‑making, the CTEO influences how WHMO invests, adapts, and transforms its technical posture. The role centers on enabling mission partners, strengthening technology readiness, and guiding senior leaders through complex modernization choices that shape the future of presidential support operations.Salary: $169,279 to $209,000 per year

Location: Washington, DCMajor Duties:Principal Infrastructure Authority: Acts as the primary visionary for the Presidential Information Technology Community (PITC), exercising ultimate authority over the engineering integrity of all "systems-of-systems," including cloud environments, networks, and mobile/secure devices.Principal Innovation Architect: Serves as the WHMO’s principal authority on the adoption of future-facing technologies, including AI/ML, automation, quantum systems, and edge computing.Strategic Technical Advisor: Provides authoritative, executive-level briefings to the WHMO Director, EOP principals, and senior DoD executives on technology posture and future investment priorities.Key SkillsMastery of exceptionally broad and complex enterprise technology, digital infrastructure, and resilient systems-of-systems architecture.Conditions of Employment:Must be a U.S.
