Chief Technology Officer

🚀 Chief Technology Officer (CTO) | EmiratiWe are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, engineering, architecture, innovation, and cybersecurity for a growing organisation in the Dubai.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise alongside strategic and people leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with business objectives.Lead engineering teams and oversee software architecture, code reviews, technical standards, and technology decisions.Own product and platform architecture, including system design, data architecture, APIs, and microservices.Drive cloud transformation, R&D, technology innovation, and digital initiatives.Design and strengthen security architecture, including threat modelling, secure SDLC, penetration testing, and incident response.Manage technology budgets, vendors, resources, and strategic partnerships.Partner with the CEO and senior leadership on technology strategy and business growth.Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology regulations.Key RequirementsMust be an Emirati – mandatory10–15 years of technology experience, including senior leadership experience.Strong recent hands-on software development and system architecture experience.Must have been hands-on within the last 3–5 years.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.Hands-on understanding of security engineering, beyond governance and compliance.Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or another modern programming language.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
