As CTO, you will serve as the chief architect of our digital transformation, managing product engineering, diagnostic platform integrations, last-mile logistics systems, data architecture, and AI-driven predictive health solutions.You will work directly with executive leadership to build scalable, secure infrastructure capable of processing high-volume health assessments, real-time diagnostic reports, and seamless patient engagement platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Tech ArchitectureEstablish the overall technology strategy, cloud architecture, and technical roadmap aligned with business growth goals.Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, predictive health analytics) to enhance diagnostic delivery and customer experience.Drive digital innovation across consumer-facing apps, phlebotomist field apps, lab management systems (LIS), and enterprise corporate dashboards.Platform Development & OperationsArchitect scalable, low-latency applications that manage doorstep sample collection, logistics routing, report generation, and online consultations.Ensure integration between field diagnostic operations, central processing laboratories, and partner ecosystems.Maintain enterprise-grade uptime, reliability, and automated operational monitoring across all digital touchpoints.Engineering & Team BuildingLead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of software engineers, DevOps specialists, QA engineers, and data scientists.Foster an agile engineering culture focused on code quality, automated testing, continuous integration, and fast release cycles.Security, Compliance & Data GovernanceEnforce compliance standards for healthcare data handling, user privacy, and medical data security (e.g., ISO certifications, Indian digital health regulations, DISHA guidelines).Implement cybersecurity measures, vulnerability frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies.Qualifications & Key RequirementsExperience: 12+ years in software engineering and technology management, with 4+ years in a senior executive role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology).Domain Knowledge: Strong background in HealthTech, Telemedicine, Diagnostics, E-commerce, or Last-Mile Logistics.Technical Stack Expertise:Backend & Mobile: Node.js, Python, Java, Go, React Native, Flutter, Swift/Kotlin.Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS / GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, Microservices.Data & AI: Relational & NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Data Warehouses, Real-time Streaming (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Machine Learning integrations.Track Record: Proven success scaling high-throughput systems serving hundreds of thousands of active users.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields from a top-tier institute.Preferred CompetenciesDeep understanding of Diagnostic Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHR) workflows.Experience implementing AI models for automated health risk assessments or report summaries.Strong executive communication and strategic stakeholder management capabilities.
