Chief Technology Officer

Role OverviewThe Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the hospital’s technology strategy, digital transformation, healthcare IT infrastructure, and innovation initiatives. The role will ensure that technology enhances patient care, operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and data security. The CTO will oversee Electronic Health Records (EHR), hospital information systems, telemedicine platforms, medical device integration, cybersecurity, data analytics, and AI-driven healthcare solutions.Key Responsibilities1. Technology Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and implement the hospital’s technology vision and digital roadmap aligned with clinical and operational goals.Drive digital transformation initiatives across clinical and administrative functions.Evaluate emerging healthcare technologies such as:AI-assisted diagnosticsRemote patient monitoringClinical decision support systemsHealthcare data analyticsCollaborate with the leadership team to integrate technology into strategic planning and growth initiatives.2. Hospital IT Infrastructure & SystemsOversee implementation and management of:Hospital Information System (HIS)Electronic Health Records (EHR)Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS)Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)Radiology Information Systems (RIS)Patient management systemsPharmacy management systemsBilling & insurance integration systems3. Cybersecurity & Data GovernanceDevelop hospital-wide cybersecurity policies and frameworks.Protect sensitive patient health data and hospital systems.Implement security measures aligned with standards such as:National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH)Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.4. Digital Health & InnovationLead initiatives in:Telemedicine platformsMobile health appsAI-based diagnosticsRemote patient monitoringIoT-enabled medical devicesSmart hospital technologies5.
