About AsomatikAsomatik is a workflow automation platform that enables businesses to connect their everyday applications and automate repetitive tasks through an intuitive, no-code experience.Our mission is to make business automation more accessible to non-dev individuals and companies across emerging markets, starting with Algeria and expanding beyond.We are currently in the MVP stage and are looking for a strong technical leader to take ownership of our technology, product infrastructure, and engineering direction as we grow.About the RoleWe're seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who enjoys building products from the ground up. You'll lead Asomatik's technical direction, evolve the platform from MVP to a scalable SaaS product, oversee engineering, and work closely with the leadership team to turn business and customer needs into reliable technology.The CTO will play a central role in determining how Asomatik is built, scaled, secured, and developed over the coming years.Responsibilities- Define and execute Asomatik's overall technology strategy.- Lead the development and evolution of Asomatik - Establish a scalable and maintainable technical architecture.- Oversee the automation engine- Lead the development and maintenance of integrations and APIs.- Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability.- Establish and maintain strong security and data-protection practices.- Oversee authentication, OAuth flows, API credentials, and integration security.- Establish development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident-response processes..- Evaluate and introduce technologies that provide meaningful value to the product.- Lead the adoption of AI capabilities within Asomatik.- Work closely with the and leadership team to align product development.- Build, manage, and develop the engineering team as Asomatik grows.- Establish technical documentation and development standards.- Ensure the platform can support Asomatik's expansion into new markets.Qualifications- Experience leading technology or engineering within a SaaS, software, or technology company.- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations.- Experience building and scaling software products from an early stage.- Strong understanding of security, authentication, and data protection.- Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.- Ability to balance technical quality with business priorities and development speed.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build in an early-stage startup.- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical leadership.CompensationThis is a leadership opportunity.The compensation structure will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on experience, responsibilities, expected contribution, and the company's development stage.
