Chief Technology Officer

An established and growing IT products and solutions company is looking to appoint an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy and technical organisation from its regional headquarters in Dubai.The company delivers a range of technology products, solutions and services to enterprise customers and is continuing to invest in its technology capabilities, product portfolio and digital transformation.The Chief Technology Officer will provide strategic technology leadership across the organisation, ensuring that the company's technology strategy supports its commercial objectives and long-term growth.The successful candidate will lead the technology function, oversee technology architecture and product development, and work closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, customers and strategic technology partners.This is a senior leadership position requiring a combination of technical depth, commercial awareness and strong leadership capability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the company's overall technology strategy and roadmap.Lead and develop the technology, engineering and technical teams.Ensure technology strategy is closely aligned with the company's business and commercial objectives.Provide technical leadership across the company's IT products, solutions and services.Oversee technology architecture, platforms, infrastructure and application environments.Lead the development, enhancement and delivery of technology products and solutions.Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve the company's products and services.Drive innovation, automation, cloud adoption and digital transformation where appropriate.Ensure technology platforms are scalable, secure, reliable and fit for enterprise customers.Work closely with sales and commercial teams on customer requirements, solution development and technical proposals.Manage technology investment and ensure effective allocation of resources.Build a high-performance engineering and technology culture.Mentor and develop senior technology leaders and technical talent.Keep the organisation informed of emerging technology trends and their potential commercial applications.Required Skills & Experience:15+ years of technology experience, with significant experience in senior technology leadership.Previous experience as a CTO, CIO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology or equivalent senior technology position.Strong experience leading sizeable technical and engineering teams.A strong understanding of modern enterprise technology architectures.Experience across areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, software development, infrastructure and enterprise platforms.Experience developing and implementing technology strategies within a commercial organisation.Strong understanding of technology products and enterprise IT solutions.Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how technology can support revenue growth and customer value.Experience managing technology budgets, vendors and strategic partnerships.Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business strategies.Extensive experience working in the UAE and wider GCC markets.If you are an experienced CTO / senior technology executive with a strong background in IT products and solutions, and are looking for an opportunity to lead the technology strategy of an established organisation in Dubai, then we’d like to hear from you.
