Chief Technology Officer

With India as a strategic hub for innovation and delivery, we are expanding our leadership team to strengthen our client engagement and market influence.Role Overview:The Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO) will serve as a senior client-facing technology leader and trusted cybersecurity advisor to enterprise clients.This role is responsible for leading strategic cybersecurity discussions with executive stakeholders, supporting sales and solutioning efforts, and representing the company’s technical vision in the marketplace. The Field CTO will work closely with clients’ CISOs, CIOs, and boards to help align cybersecurity strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory & Executive EngagementAct as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to enterprise clients, providing strategic guidance on security transformation, resilience, and governance.Lead executive-level discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap sessions focused on Zero Trust, cloud security, threat management, and data protection.Support sales and account teams in shaping large, complex cybersecurity engagements.Serve as a key point of contact for C-suite executives, building long-term trusted relationships.Thought Leadership & Market InfluenceRepresent the company as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and client forums.Develop and publish white papers, blog posts, and webinars on emerging cybersecurity trends.Track evolving threats, technologies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, RBI, CERT-In, DPDP Act) and translate them into client strategies.Business Development SupportPartner with the sales and pre-sales teams to influence deal strategy and demonstrate technical value.Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within key accounts.Contribute to go-to-market strategies and support regional growth initiatives.Ecosystem CollaborationEngage with OEMs, hyperscalers, and security technology partners (e.g., Microsoft, SailPoint) to co-create client solutions.Collaborate with internal Cyber practices and security engineering teams to ensure consistency and innovation across solutions.

Qualifications

Required:15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in client-facing or advisory leadership roles.Proven experience engaging C-level executives (CISO, CIO, CTO) as a trusted advisor.Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains including threat detection, SOC/MDR, cloud security, application security, IAM, Zero Trust, and data protection.Strong grasp of global and India-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks.Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.Preferred:Experience in a cybersecurity services or consulting organization (MSSP/MDR, IAM, Cyber Advisory, or Big 4).Exposure to regulated industries such as BFSI, telecom, or healthcare.Advanced degree in information/cybersecurity or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA.Experience with AI-driven or cloud-native security operations.Why Join UsBe the technical face of a fast-growing cybersecurity services company serving global enterprises.Work directly with executive stakeholders and global leadership to shape cybersecurity strategies.Lead high-impact engagements and contribute to the future of cybersecurity innovation in India.EOE: Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
