Location: DubaiSector: Fitness / Wellness / ConsumerExecutive Leadership RoleWe are partnering with a rapidly growing, consumer-focused business in the fitness and wellness sector to appoint a Chief Technology Officer (CTO).This is a high-impact executive role with responsibility for defining and delivering the organisation’s technology strategy as it continues to scale.

Technology is central to the customer proposition, with a particular emphasis on mobile applications (iOS & Android), digital customer experience, data, AI and automation.The successful candidate will combine strong technology leadership with a commercial and product-led mindset. You will be equally comfortable discussing mobile product strategy and architecture with engineering teams as you are discussing growth, customer experience and technology investment with the executive leadership team.The RoleYou will own the technology strategy and roadmap across the organisation, creating a scalable and connected technology ecosystem that supports both the digital customer experience and wider business operations.A key priority will be the continued evolution of the company's consumer mobile applications and digital platform, ensuring a seamless experience across customer acquisition, onboarding, membership, bookings, engagement, communications, loyalty and retention.You will also lead the integration of core business platforms, bringing together customer-facing applications, CRM, membership, marketing, finance and operational systems to create a more connected and data-driven organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Owning the technology and digital transformation strategy.Leading the evolution of iOS and Android applications and the wider digital customer journey.Providing leadership across mobile, software engineering, architecture, infrastructure and technology operations.Building a scalable architecture connecting mobile, web, CRM, membership and other core platforms.Developing a unified approach to customer data, analytics and business intelligence.Identifying and implementing practical applications of AI and automation across the organisation.Enabling personalisation, lifecycle communications and digital engagement at scale.Ensuring technology platforms are secure, reliable and scalable.Building and developing high-performing technology teams.Managing strategic technology partners and vendors.Partnering with executive leadership across Product, Marketing, Operations and Finance.Ensuring technology investment delivers measurable improvements in customer experience, efficiency and commercial performance.What We're Looking For:We are interested in technology leaders who have operated in consumer-facing, mobile-led environments and can demonstrate experience scaling both technology platforms and engineering organisations.You are likely to bring:Significant technology leadership experience at CTO, VP Engineering, VP Technology, Engineering Director or equivalent level.Strong experience delivering and scaling consumer mobile applications across iOS and Android.Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across mobile, backend/platform, frontend and cloud/DevOps.A strong understanding of modern application architecture, APIs, integrations and cloud technologies.Experience within a B2C, subscription, membership or high-frequency consumer environment.Strong understanding of customer data, CRM, analytics and digital engagement.Practical experience implementing AI, automation and emerging technologies.Experience supporting a high-growth or transformation environment.Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate technology strategy into business outcomes.The ability to operate effectively at both executive and technical level.Experience within fitness technology, wellness, health clubs, digital fitness, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, marketplaces or other app-led consumer businesses would be particularly relevant.If you have led technology in a mobile-first, consumer environment and are ready to take on a broader CTO mandate, we’d be keen to hear from you.
