It serves enterprise customers and has a clear vision for applying AI to how infrastructure is managed.The RoleThe company is hiring its Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy, engineering and AI. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the executive team, the CTO will set the technical vision, build and scale a high-performing engineering organization, and make sure the platform can support the company's growth.This is a senior leadership role. You'll stay close to architecture and key technical decisions, but your main impact will come through strategy, people, process and execution across the organization.What You'll LeadTechnology vision and strategy: Define and own the long-term technical and AI roadmap, in line with company strategy, product direction and customer needs.Engineering organization: Build, scale and lead engineering, AI/ML and infrastructure teams. Hire senior leaders, develop talent and create a culture of ownership, quality and speed.AI strategy: Guide how the company develops and deploys AI across the platform, including agentic and LLM-based capabilities, with strong attention to reliability, safety and responsible use.Architecture and scalability: Oversee platform architecture so it can scale with enterprise demand, stay resilient and keep up with fast product iteration.Execution and delivery: Put in place the operating rhythms, planning processes and engineering practices that make delivery predictable and high quality.Security and compliance: Own the security posture, data governance and compliance programs that enterprise customers expect.Executive partnership: Work with the CEO, product, go-to-market and the board on strategy, investment priorities, build-vs-buy decisions and fundraising.Customer and market engagement: Act as the company's senior technical voice with key customers, partners and investors.Who You AreYou have 15+ years in software engineering, including significant time as a senior engineering leader (CTO, VP Engineering or equivalent) at a high-growth technology company.You've built and scaled engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth.You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and enterprise-grade SaaS.You understand modern AI, including LLMs and agentic systems, and have led teams that shipped AI capabilities to production.You've set technical strategy and turned it into execution across multiple teams.You have experience with enterprise customers and the security, reliability and compliance standards they require.You communicate clearly with technical teams, executives, customers and investors.You're a thoughtful, decisive leader who attracts and keeps exceptional talent.What's on OfferA seat on the executive team with full ownership of technology and engineeringThe chance to shape the technical direction of a company in a fast-moving categoryA strong team, real customer traction and room to build at scaleCompetitive salary and meaningful equityInterested?
