Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning (IPO-Driven)Develop and execute medium- and long-term technology strategies and R&D roadmaps aligned with IPO compliance requirements and capital market expectations.Drive strategic investments in cutting-edge areas, including lightweight optical waveguides, Photonic Volume Grating (PVG) material systems, on-device large language models (LLMs), and spatial computing, ensuring that technology roadmaps are both forward-looking and technically feasible.2. R&D Leadership and Mass Production ExecutionOversee and coordinate the Optical Research Institute, AI Research Institute, and end-to-end hardware R&D center.Lead the development and engineering implementation of core technologies, overcoming process and manufacturing barriers in the transition from laboratory research to mass production. This includes the integration of photo-alignment materials, liquid crystal materials, and coating and exposure processes.Ensure that products achieve industry-leading performance in lightweight design, extended battery life, and overall performance.3. R&D Systems and Intellectual Property DevelopmentEstablish an IPO-ready R&D management framework and Integrated Product Development (IPD) processes to significantly improve R&D efficiency and execution.Lead the development of a strategic core patent portfolio, build a sustainable foundation of proprietary technology assets, and establish a strong technological moat.4. Capital Markets Alignment and Global ExpansionSupport the Founder and CFO in domestic and international IPO roadshows, clearly articulating the company's technological depth, competitive advantages, and long-term commercial potential to leading institutional investors.Qualifications1. Educational BackgroundPh.D. from an Ivy League institution or a globally top-ranked university (Top 20), such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, or Columbia University.Degree in Computer Science, Optoelectronics, Materials Science, or a related interdisciplinary field.2. Professional ExperienceExperience at Leading U.S. Technology Companies: At least 10 years of professional experience in North America, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior technical leadership role, such as Technical Lead or Chief Architect, at a leading technology company such as Meta Reality Labs, Apple, Google, or Microsoft.Cross-Disciplinary Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in hardware and end-to-end product development, combined with exceptional capabilities in AI algorithm strategy and leadership.Mass Production Experience: Proven success in taking smart glasses or complete AR/VR devices from concept to commercialization and mass production is strongly preferred.3. Language and Compliance RequirementsExceptional bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, with strong business communication and technical communication skills in both languages.Ability to meet the requirements of global business operations and capital markets compliance. U.S. permanent residency (Green Card) or U.S. citizenship is preferred.
