Chief Technology Officer

Facila.tech is building real-time computer vision products based on human pose, hand and face tracking. We are looking for a founding CTO to mature the technology with Inria's STARS team in Sophia Antipolis, then lead it into the startup.THE ROLE

• Phase 1: technical lead on the Facila project inside Inria STARS
• Phase 2: co-founder and CTO of Facila.tech, with equity, once the company is incorporatedYou will turn this research prototype into a product: cloud setup and deployment, customer support, and optimised vision models for edge devices. Later, you will recruit and lead the engineering team.WHAT YOU BRING· Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong motivation to co-found a startup, work in a fast-paced environment, and stay customer-oriented.· Frameworks & Real-Time Tracking: Experience with MediaPipe or similar pose/hand/face tracking frameworks (e.g., Pose, Hands, Face Mesh, Holistic).· Computer Vision & ML Core: Strong background in computer vision, pose estimation, action recognition, and multi-object tracking.· Model Training & Web Execution:· GPU Model Training: Hands-on experience training models on GPUs using PyTorch or TensorFlow (CUDA).· In-Browser ML Deployment: Experience running models client-side on mobile/tablet browsers using JavaScript/TypeScript alongside MediaPipe for Web or TensorFlow.js.· Model Optimization: Familiarity with ONNX, TFLite, or web runtime optimization.· Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
