The CTO leads the overall technology vision and strategy, aligning solar and digital solutions with business objectives and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include overseeing software and product development initiatives, managing technology roadmaps, and guiding architectural decisions for systems supporting solar energy operations. The role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, product teams, and external partners to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The CTO also establishes technology governance, mentors technical teams, evaluates emerging technologies, and ensures robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support the company’s growth.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience delivering complex, technology-enabled solutions.Candidates should possess skills in IT Strategy and Architecture, including defining long-term technology roadmaps and designing scalable, secure systems.Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple initiatives concurrently.Extensive experience in senior technology leadership roles, ideally within energy, renewable energy, or related industrial sectors.Proficiency in modern software engineering practices, cloud platforms, data management, and cybersecurity principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.Experience building and mentoring diverse, high-performing technical teams and fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment.Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial.Fluency in English; German language skills or willingness to learn are an advantage.
