FOUNDING CTO / CO-FOUNDER — NEXUSFMBuild the execution rail for the built worldFacilities management is a £1.5T global industry still coordinated through fragmented systems, manual workflows and slow payment cycles.We're building NexusFM to change that.NexusFM turns physical maintenance work into Structured Task Units (STUs) — machine-readable units that can be scoped, priced, allocated, executed, verified and commercially cleared through a common infrastructure layer.The ambition is much bigger than another FM SaaS platform.We're building the infrastructure through which physical work can eventually be matched, executed, cleared and traded in real time.The roleWe're looking for an exceptional Founding CTO & Co-Founder to take NexusFM from architecture and high-fidelity prototype through live enterprise deployment and into production.This is a genuine 0→1 builder role.You'll personally shape the architecture, write code, make ruthless build-vs-buy decisions, work directly with customers and recruit the first exceptional engineers around you.The first challenge is simple to describe:Requirement → STU → allocation → execution → evidence → verification → clearing.Make that work beautifully in the real world. Then scale it.You'll own the technical development of the STU protocol, execution and matching engines, verification layer, AI-native intelligence and settlement infrastructure — and ultimately the engineering organisation around them.Who we're looking forWe're particularly interested in people who have built something from near-zero and then seen it become genuinely successful.You might have been a founder, founding engineer or early technical leader. What's important is that you've experienced both sides:0→1 creation and 1→scale.You should still be deeply technical and comfortable getting into the code. We don't need someone to manage a large engineering organisation on day one. We need someone who can build the foundations and attract exceptional people to build alongside them.Experience in marketplaces, fintech/payments, transaction infrastructure, logistics, mobility or field operations is particularly relevant.We're not looking for someone who wants to architect the perfect system before shipping. You need to know what must be right on day one — and what can wait until day 1,000.Why NexusFMWe have a defined STU execution model, high-fidelity product work underway, enterprise pilot pathways with major UK FM operators and a £1.5m Seed round in progress.The initial wedge is maintenance execution.
