someone who is strategic enough to think several years ahead but operational enough to understand what is happening inside the business today. The right person will be comfortable walking into complexity. They will challenge legacy thinking when necessary, but they will not pursue technology simply because it is new. They will understand that successful technology transformation requires adoption, accountability, communication, and execution, not just software. Most importantly, this person will view technology through the lens of the business. The goal is not to have the newest technology stack. The goal is to build a technology organization that allows the company to operate smarter, move faster, serve customers better, and scale.
