Chief Technology Officer- Robotics

About the RoleA growing robotics technology company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the development of advanced robotic manipulation systems for industrial humanoid robots.The company combines the entrepreneurial environment of a robotics business with the engineering capabilities and industrial expertise of an established technology organization. Its work spans robotic hand mechanics, sensors, actuators, embedded control, perception, manipulation software, and AI.The CTO will lead the transition from advanced prototypes and research technologies toward an integrated, reliable, and industrial-grade product platform.Required Experience5+ leadership experience in robotics, mechatronics, industrial automation, or another complex electromechanical product environment.Proven responsibility for a multidisciplinary engineering organization of 20+ FTE.Experience managing engineering budgets, headcount planning, external partners, and major development programs.Strong understanding of both robotics hardware and software, with sufficient technical depth to challenge decisions across disciplines.Experience developing integrated products involving mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, controls, and software.Demonstrated ability to move complex technology from research or prototype stages toward reliable, scalable products.Experience building teams, developing engineering leaders, and managing organizational growth.Strong product judgment with the ability to balance technical ambition with customer value, cost, reliability, and time-to-market.
