Child and Adult Psychiatrist - SeniorRiyadhArabic speakers preferredSCFHS LicensedRole Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Child and Adult Psychiatrist – Arabic speaker based in Riyadh. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, including medication management and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role also involves monitoring patient progress, offering family psychoeducation and support, and contributing to mental health promotion and awareness initiatives. The psychiatrist will be expected to deliver care in Arabic, with the ability to communicate professionally in English considered beneficial.QualificationsStrong foundation in Medicine, including a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency training.Specialized expertise in Psychiatry, with board certification or equivalent recognition in adult psychiatry.Advanced skills in Child Psychiatry, including assessment and treatment of developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders in younger populations.Demonstrated experience in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, including risk assessment, crisis intervention, and long-term management of psychiatric conditions.Fluency in Arabic, with the ability to conduct clinical interviews and documentation; working proficiency in English is an advantage.Valid license to practice psychiatry or eligibility for licensing in Saudi Arabia.Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary clinical teams.Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development.
