Through its Section 8 Foundation, WombTo18 extends this work via community initiatives and CSR-supported health access programs, providing equitable preventive care solutions across diverse populations.Role Description The Child Health & Family Engagement Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh with flexibility for some work-from-home. This role focuses on engaging families, schools, and community partners to promote preventive child and adolescent health practices, including immunization adherence, developmental screening participation, and school health program uptake. The officer will conduct outreach sessions, health education workshops, and follow-up calls or visits to support families in navigating the WombTo18 platform and related services. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare providers and school teams, collecting and documenting field insights, supporting community and CSR-backed initiatives, and providing feedback to product and program teams to improve child health interventions. The role also involves preparing concise reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that engagement activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and aligned with public health guidelines.Experience: 0–2 yearsQualification: MSW / MA Social Work Salary:₹15,000–₹22,000/monthCore responsibility Identify → Engage → Coordinate → Follow-up → CloseResponsibilitiesCandidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety, with the ability to understand health risks in different environments and promote safe practices for children and caregivers.Candidates should possess Community Health and Communication skills, including experience delivering health education, building trust with families, and coordinating with schools and local organizations.Candidates should possess Construction Safety knowledge where relevant to community or school infrastructure, ensuring that health and safety concerns are recognized and appropriately escalated.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in public health, social work, child development, nursing, or a related field.Experience working in community-based health programs, school health initiatives, or child and adolescent health projects, preferably in low-resource or diverse settings.Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in written and spoken English, and comfort working with digital tools, mobile apps, and health data systems.Ability to travel locally within Hyderabad and nearby regions as needed, and to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Knowledge of Indian public health systems, immunization programs, and NEP/UDISE+ frameworks is an advantage.
