Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: AED 420,000 – 720,000 per year (AED 35,000 – 60,000 per month), depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefitsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Dubai.

You will diagnose and treat mental health, developmental and behavioural conditions in children and young people, working closely with psychologists, therapists, educators and families to deliver safe, evidence-based, family-centred care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescentsDiagnose and manage conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, mood and behavioural disorders, and trauma-related conditionsDevelop and review individualised treatment plans, including medication management and monitoringProvide risk assessment and crisis intervention, including coordination of urgent care and referralsWork with psychologists, social workers, speech and occupational therapists and school teams as part of a multidisciplinary teamCounsel and support parents and caregivers, including psychoeducation on diagnosis and treatmentMaintain accurate, confidential clinical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirementsContribute to clinical governance, case reviews, quality improvement and team supervisionTake part in community awareness, training and outreach programmes on child mental healthRequirementsMedical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institutionSpecialist qualification in Psychiatry and subspecialty training or certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or equivalent)A minimum of 3 years of post-specialty experience, with experience in child and adolescent servicesA valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license, or eligibility to obtain one before startingStrong skills in assessment, diagnosis, medication management and clinical documentationExcellent communication in English.
