With a strong emphasis on collaborative, child-first care, Hoola Health positions itself as a parenting partner focused on practical support rather than prescriptive advice.Role Description The Child Psychologist will provide on-site, full-time mental health care at Hoola Health’s clinic in Bengaluru, working with children and adolescents across a range of developmental stages and emotional needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, designing treatment plans, and delivering individual and family therapy sessions that fit into the realities of family life. The role involves close collaboration with pediatricians and other clinicians to ensure integrated, child-centered care, as well as clear, empathetic communication with parents and caregivers. The Child Psychologist will document clinical findings, maintain accurate records, participate in case discussions, and contribute to creating a safe, welcoming environment that supports both kids and families.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with experience in child and adolescent care.Proficiency in Psychological Testing and assessment methods relevant to pediatric populations.Training or experience in Family Therapy, including work with caregivers and multi-generational dynamics.Background in Medicine or close collaboration with medical teams, particularly in pediatric settings.Advanced degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Psychiatry, or a closely related field; appropriate professional licensure or registration.Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, jargon-free language to children and caregivers.Demonstrated skills in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental practice.Comfort working on-site in a busy clinical environment and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
