A leader in polar expeditions, respectful of the environment and an expert in luxury cruises, PONANT pays particular attention to the outfitting of its ships.Job Description The Chinese Guest Relation is responsible to support and provide guidance to our Chinese Guest onboard. He/She is a valuable assistance to the various services with a view to provide personalization and recognition to our Chinese passengers.Main Tasks Translation of “Daily Program” every dayTranslation of any publications on board (flyer type : advertisement / bridge communication / immigration forms etc.)Translation of all restaurant menusWith support of DC, Presentation of the “life on board” information meeting with PPT support in Chinese (to be designed)With support of DC, Presentation of the special disembarkation meeting the day before Disembarkation Hospitality support, entrance to the restaurant (assist the Restaurant Director the first days of the cruise and then when necessary, the shop, the bar, the spa, the photo studio, cruise sales on board, the medical center, the organization of events for Chinese passengers etc.Translation of CD announcementsAssistance at reception when there are Chinese passengersPublic relations for Chinese passengersTransmission of comments from Chinese passengers to the relevant departmentsAssistance to the Cruise Director for activities on board with Chinese passengers (Karaoke, Casino party, evenings dancing/corporate etc … )Exchange with Chinese tour leadersAssistance to the Expedition team when Chinese naturalists are not on boardProfileMinimum 3 years of experiences in the Palace/ 5* hotel or luxury tourism industry Knowledge of luxury service standardsSoftskills: dynamic, organized, adaptable, interpersonal skillsAutonomous and proactive profileCHINESE SPEAKERChinese culture KnowledgeEnglish FluentWorking proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.Our opportunities are open to everyone.
